To Become a Board Member of UT Law’s ACS Student Chapter…

Each spring, the current board of the Texas Law-ACS chapter votes for the incoming board members. Serving on the ACS board provides opportunities to spotlight critical issues that are important to board members, continue to build and grow our progressive community, and meet fellow students and practitioners with diverse interests. Every year, board members develop significant relationships with faculty and outside speakers, which serves to enhance the law school experience. The primary responsibility for all board members is to organize 1–2 events per semester, in addition to participating in our decision-making and planning process. Executive board members (president and vice presidents) also help coordinate logistical and budgetary aspects of events and correspond with the national office. Please email for more information.
